It's that time of year when I worry about what to get all my friends for Christmas.

Would love to know what is the best gift you ever got from or for a close friend.

Let's try to keep it beauty/skin related Smile

I don't think you can go wrong with either a clarins or a locitanne hand cream.

I usually give Clarins Flash Balm to my bestie.

The best one I've given to a friend who then bought it again is the Sarah Chapman Overnight Facial.

What's your budget? I like those small Dr Haushka tin sets, Nuxe or REN sets, I'd be happy to receive any of those!

have a look on www.allbeauty.co.uk , discounted prices on lovely stuff. the decleor facial oil went down well with friends of mine.I love clarins hand cream.

Oh and REN shower gel always goes down well.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream.

I really dislike the put together gift sets - probably more so as it's my birthday in Jan and I get everyone's they didn't want for Christmas or ones they got 70% off after Hmm ungrateful I know but I always put thought into what I buy others.

If not spending a lot I like nice soaps (TK Maxx have lovely Italian ones) and nice shower gel.

Make up wise I know it's very personal but I love receiving nice neutral glosses like the MAC mineralize - they suit most people.

Nails Inc polishes. Or Chanel.

Nails Inc gift sets from TK Maxx always go down well.

I am very particular about my skin care, and would hate to get a gift set. I'd be up for hand cream, hand wash, foot cream, shower gel.

Clarins always do a really nice set with hand cream, beauty flash etc. it's lovely and quite general so you wouldn't have to know their skin type. They also do mascara and lipgloss sets which are good as stocking fillers or slightly cheaper presents.

Another vote for allaboutbeauty boxes. They're all I get for my female relatives now. They look forward to them.

Neal's Yard Frankinsence moisturiser makes a good Christmas gift.
