short crop pictures for thick straight hair?

I have really thick straight hair and it is long at them moment but always tied up as I have decided I suit it better off my face.

I am going to get it cut short (really short) but I am not quite sure what style as it is so straight.

Do any of you pixie experts have any suggestions?

This was me, few years ago but, I had it short for 10 yrs +. Now, it's long but I still hanker for no fuss, short hair and like you, find myself tying my hair up and back, off my face all the time! I've straight hair, fine but....loads of it. When mines short, I don't need to dry it, just wash, comb, dry naturally and it all fell into place

I recently got the Jenna Elfman pixie cut and I love it.

Those pics are good, I am thinking pretty short- like this sort of thing if the pic works.

I just need to make sure it will be ok with straight hair, poker straight.

Eliza mine is like yours- the texture is fine and smooth but there is a lot of hair.

I have thick hair, and a Ginnifer Goodwin ish pixie cut and it works fine. I do have to get it cut regularly as if it gets too long it goes mad and sticks out where it shouldn't.

Yes, I'd agree. It was fairly expensive the 6 weekly trims to keep the style. Am always hankering after it though!

The Jean Seberg pixie is the finest of them all.

Sorry, off subject OP, but just to say eliza I think you were asking for views on your hair length a few weeks ago. Must say it did look fab shorter and, if I were you, would be very tempted to chop it again.

I did start to find my short style unforgiving on a day when I felt ropey. Nothing to hide behind I guess, and certainly, as my jawline's going, I found the short short crop I had made me feel "naked".

What about this from Rhianna. It can be slicked back, behind the ears too. Or, Michelle Williams....love this!
