You know those little cable knit mini skirts that are in the shops at the moment? I think I like the idea of them but I have no clue what to wear them with on top. I am a size 12 and a typical apple. I have good legs and big boobs - 32h. Is this a garment I can contemplate? I just fear that whatever I put on top will make me look like a chunky monkey!

Go for it! I think my shape is similar to yours as I am 5'8, 12 top, 14 bottom and rather granny smith in the middle, but long legs, big boobs. The only time I wear a mini is in winter (as I'm not too keen on my naked legs on display. Knobbly knees, pale, thread veins, naaaiice) I have the type of skirt you mean, and I also wear denim mini skirts too. Always with leggings, flat boots (usually brown or tan) and a boxy style or boat necked jumper. Keep the jumper to a fine knit if it isn't so loose, or go with a chunkier knit if it is and your bottom half will look a bit smaller, but avoid jumpers too high necked as it will only serve to give you bigger boobs and shoulders. And go with colour. Good distraction technique, every time.

So far this season I've seen them worn mainly with denim/chambray shirts, which looks pretty good.

Depending on your shape, you could wear a vest underneath, then the denim shirt open over it (tied at the bottom), or the shirt buttoned up and tucked in.

I need a link. This sounds like something I could be tempted by.
