Help me style a midi length chocolate brown leather skirt

Having finally stepped away from the biscuit tin I now fit into a rather fabulous butter soft leather skirt that I bought an extremely long time ago when I didn't spend every sodding penny I earn on DCs….. Not pencil skirt exactly ,but definitely straight rather than A line. Was thinking of wearing ankle boots (Ash Jalouse) styleee and maybe a sweater in bright colour on top. Any alternative bright ideas of what to put with it?

Have you looked on Pinterest? I did a quick search and a denim shirt would look good, as would a cream or navy chunky knit.

Was definitely thinking along knot lines. V good idea about Pinterest. Never use it really.

Er - knit lines. Not knot lines ....

Alternatively a pale fitted gold would look stunning! Nude boots or heels?

Yeah chunky knit, or white shirt and navy jumper, camel and navy striped long sleeve tee, etc.

I find looking at pinterest is great for finding outfit inspiration.

If I wasn't' such a wuss about the cold weather I'd consider shoe-boots, but think need tights which is why I was more going down the ankle boot route. Have quite nice fitted gold thing - just short sleeved. Might be able to layer over black…. Hmmm.
