Thick leggings on the high street?

Where do you get them? (for under dresses and possibly exercising)

I only have a short lunch break so need to know and go IYSWIM!

Thoughts?

Sorry no help but need to know too

UriGeller · 09/10/2014 13:50

Saw some really thick ones in H&M yesterday. £7.99 I think. Label said thick leggings or heavy leggings or something. They looked good but I didn't try them.

TheSpottedZebra · 09/10/2014 13:51

People always seem to mention the sainsburys leggings on here. Don't know which ones though.

I can vouch for their jeggings if that's any help - perfect for mooching about the house.

Labrat72 · 09/10/2014 13:56

Yes, sainsburys, the single ones, not the double pack. I love them. They come up pretty big though so but a size or even 2 sizes down. I think they're £10

TessTackle · 09/10/2014 13:58

The h&m ones Uri mentioned are incredible! Like sweatshirt material.

CarpeJugulum · 09/10/2014 14:07

H&M it is then - I need a pair quickly, and there is a shop close by, so that's perfect!

Now, can anyone turn the rain off?! Sad

No help with the rain I'm afraid, got home from the school run 2 hours ago and my shoes are still wet Sad

CarpeJugulum · 09/10/2014 19:16

I ended up buying the leggings (fabby btw!) and a cardi to cover up my wet boobs in a white shirt. and not a few tshirts either

I bought some leggings from Sainsburys last year.

They are very thick - and lasted well. I have just dug them out for this autumn winter.

CarpeJugulum · 09/10/2014 19:44

Well, my fat knees don't look fabulous, but they are comfy and warm so I don't care.

However, they did have two types - normal and "heavy" - so I went for the heavy as the normal felt a bit thin.

Lovely toasty legs tonight. Although I may have to invest in slouchy socks and a t-shirt that slips off one shoulder to go with them! Grin

Next are pretty good.

TessTackle · 09/10/2014 20:35

The normal ones are pants, so glad you went for thick. I got a gorgeous leopard print jumper in there yesterday!

Dancergirl · 09/10/2014 21:07

What colours are the sainsburys ones in?

ChablisLover · 09/10/2014 21:30

Bought a pair from mint velvet. £15 but ever so thick.

singaporeswing · 10/10/2014 03:43

Topshop also have a lot of ponte versions this year.

I still have a pair from last year that wash well, haven't stretched at all and are super thick.
