Jeans/trousers that will work with a saggy tummy?

Help!!
DD is 7 months old, and my baby-weight is coming off, but I still have a very flabby tummy (legacy of 3 pregnancies including twins)
All the trousers I've tried will go over my thighs and bum, but won't fasten! The ones that will are too baggy everywhere else Sad
I need something long now the cold weather's here - any suggestions?

Next high waisted jeans - the lift, slim and shape ones are worth a try.

I have the same problem (DS is 5 months old but had lot of issues with cs scar). I'll probably get round up and shot for this, but I've tried a few things which work.

Firstly I've been wearing jeggings, but the ones that are more on the side of jeans if that makes sense. They seem to work really well.
I've also hunted out some jeans with elasticated waists (Sainsburys had some recently). Not the most fashionable but nobody can see the waistband anyway.

I wear an M&S light control body/vest thingy a lot too, it's dead comfy and smooths things out a bit, making trousers fit better. I wear bra and knickers underneath. Hmm, that makes me sound a bit strange!

Lastly, my guilty pleasure is under the bump maternity jeans To my shame I've even a new pair, which was an excellent suggestion from DH, bless his pragmatic mind! Well, it's not to my shame actually, I don't care, they're really comfy and nobody can tell when they're under your clothes Grin

Sorry about typos, stupid new tablet!

I've just discovered Jeggings - love them!
They will hold it all in and they don't need fastening.

JustCallMeBaldrick · 08/10/2014 11:07

Thanks for the suggestions - looks like jeggings could be the way forward!

They really are.
I never thought in a million years you would catch me in a pair but now I have 2 pairs and I always get compliments when out and about in them.

Look no further than Topshop Jamie.

High waisted jeans and trews.

Dorothy Perkins high waisted jeggings are good, they fasten up like jeans but higher up and have a lot of give in them. Also they do some, can't think of the name, with a side zip which are quite good.

Also second Next.

Does anywhere do size 18 jeggings?

JustCallMeBaldrick · 09/10/2014 12:57

Thank you for the Dorothy Perkins suggestion SootGremlin, I now have 2 pairs of jeans that fasten Smile
