Just that really.

I'd like a matte eyeshadow pallet but haven't got £££, any suggestions?

Yes! MUA Undressed and Makeup Revolution Iconic 1. Both online or from Superdrug, £4 each. I've got a couple of the Revolution palettes; they do as lovely palette that's all mattes - the Naked dupes have some metallics in but they are very soft.

What fubsy said. Mua and makeup revolution are both great brands.

I have two of the Sleek pallettes (Superdrug and Tesco sell them)
Au Naturel which has about eight matte shades and Vintage Romance which only has a couple of matte.
There's twelve shades in each, and they're well pigmented. Each set IIRC £8 so good value.

Only downside is the smart black cases are a bugger to open Hmm

Sleek are good.
Some of them can be hard to open, but you can file the little catch bit with a nail file to make it easier to open. Don't file too much off as they then will not stay closed!
There's a bit of fallout when applying them, but they are very pigmented, last well on the skin and are generally good. I do think some of the matte shades can be a bit patchy, but the other finishes are very good.

Inglot is more expensive, but could be an option too. You can choose the colours you want. www.inglotuk.com/Freedom_System-Eyes.html
I have one of the rainbow colours (3 neutral colours) and a few of the single colours and they really are as good as Mac, but cheaper.

I've heard really good things about MakeupGeek's eye shadows. www.makeupgeek.com/store/eye-products/eyeshadows/makeup-geek-eyeshadows.html
You could get a Z palette to put them in - it's magnetic and they come in different sizes.

Urban Decay also has the Naked Basics palettes - they contain 6 colours.

I third MUA Smile

OneLittleLady · 07/10/2014 22:30

I say MUA as well, I have loads of their palettes and they are all really good. Very cheap considering the quality of them and easily as good as, if not better than, some of the more expensive brands I have or have tried

RubyrooUK · 07/10/2014 23:27

MUA are amazing. I still think Urban Decay are the best but MUA comes a close second.

yorkierocks123 · 08/10/2014 10:35

yes the MUA is amazingly good esp considering the price
