So I splashed out a few months ago but tbh finding it a bit too shimmery and kind of looking forward to finishing it, still have masses left though.

I guess I will have to put it down to an expensive mistake.

I have the original urban decay basics palette which is all matte except the white highlight colour, I find it very useful. I avoid too much shimmer now I'm a bit older.

Maybe you have a young relative that would be delighted with an UD palette?
I have a niece to offload my mistakes on Grin.

Very shimmery alright.
Can you blend in your colour with one matt eye shadow.

I just had a big clear out this morning of old make up and a lot of eyeshadows got the bin don't think half of them were even used. We never need as much as we think.

Perhaps I should have gone for the original?
How annoying, now if only ebay had a market for used makeupGrin

Isn't there a charity for women's refudges that take opened cosmetics ?

Jackie0 · 07/10/2014 10:33

Refuges.....sorry

I follow a lot of the beauty guru type you tubers and they often have a blog sale to sell opened stuff. You can sterilise it with a squirt of alcohol

I don't like the 2 very much either,I love the first one though. I think the 2 is for under 22's only with all that shimmer!Grin
