Smashbox Photo finish oil free primer - is it worth it?

I need a new primer and have been wanting to buy the Smashbox one for ages, but is it worth the £25 price tag??

If not, any recommendations for oily skin?

No. I like the MUA oil free primer or the Garnier blurring one

I have today bought the lanacane anti chafing gel (£6) which apparently has the same ingredients as smashbox. I will report back!

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 06/10/2014 23:35

Yeah the lanacane is exactly the same and it's greatSmile

lanacane makes me break out but smashbox doesn't - are they really the same????? perhaps a higher percentage of something in the lanacane.

DorothyBastard · 07/10/2014 08:21

I have both the Smashbox and some Lanacane and they seem exactly the same to me. They're both excellent, but one's a fraction if the price of the other!

AmeliaPeabody · 07/10/2014 10:47

Personally I'd say not. I have the smash box and the lanacane. With the smashbox I stopped using because I couldn't see/feel any benefits to using, but the lanacane makes my skin smoother and seems to vaguely work as a primer.

MushroomTree · 07/10/2014 11:18

Amazing! Thanks for the Lanacane tip.

I'll give it a go and report back as well. :)

I got a smash box sample box from boots. I was not convinced.
I like Clinique city block.
