Cord blazers - ok or frump fest?

I used to love wearing blazers in my early to mid twenties, usually cord, suede or velvet in various colours and am considering going back to a cord blazer for autumn now.

Thing is, I don't see them in younger stores as much these days so wondering if they are generally worn by more mature ladies now? I'm 32 so don't want to look too old and boring.

Any opinions? Would be worn with jeans, boots and tops, dresses/tunics and leggings or tights and occasionally my burgundy stag print brakeburn bag

I'm 36 and wear them a lot. Today I am wearing a grey Boden cord blazer, over a denim tunic and navy breton with boots and opaques.

I'm not that trendy though, so wouldn't like to comment on whether they are "in" Wink
