I am really tempted to take a pair of scissors to my clothes - should I?

Have any of you successfully altered your clothes? I have several tops that I don't wear so much as they make me look very big busted, which I am. I look better in a deep v, not a round neck and am just wondering if I should just go for it on the basis that I am not wearing them anyway and have nothing to lose! Any tips please.

As long as you have the skill then it;s a top plan, yes Smile

Ah, that's the problem. No skill at all - quite a good eye, but no experience. How hard can it be :)

Deceptively hard but doable Smile

If you start with the stuff you can afford to throw away fuck up a bit, all will be well probably.

Do it.

have a look on pinterest at 'upcycled tshirt' or 'refashioned'

I have:

cut up a plain work tshirt into a summer top with ruffle edging at neck
cut down a work dress into a tunic.
used a tshirt to make a top into a tunic.

Once you start........
