HoC style natural - which posh dress?

I've figured out that I'm very much a "natural" style, so love wearing things like this:
www.pinterest.com/pin/565553665680579446/
www.polyvore.com/natural_fall_style/set?id=65307582&lid=1398832

But I'm now a bit stumped for what to wear when I need to look smart. My company holds 2 black tie evenings a year and I always look completely uncomfortable and a bit of a mess (which kind of makes sense now). So I'm wondering how I can use this style info to find a dress that I don't look awful in.

Is there such a thing as a "natural style identity" posh dress?

Can't help directly: another natural, very interested in some ideas for going out clothes.

I think you need Vivianne Westwood TBH. Sometimes there are MAry Portas dresses that might fit the bill too.

This sort of thing?

black
and again, also in fuchsia
soft red

Wow - I am loving those (especially the 2nd and 3rd)! Now I just need to find a slightly cheaper version (or ebay...). I would never have thought to try VW.

MP bargain in black or teal
another, black or red this time
might this work?

I've no idea what sort of shape being a HoC style natural is supposed to mean. Or indeed if it's anything at all to do with shape Confused

(this isn't at all formal but it's fab. only an 8 and a 20 left)

It's linked to shape - this is an sort-of overview of natural:
www.truth-is-beauty.com/blog/archives/10-2014
and links to possible clothes for different styles:
www.truth-is-beauty.com/blog/style-identities-part-ii-the-truth-is-beauty-style-identity-system

I did a short test and came up as natural, looked at the pinterest and polyvore boards and recognised most of my wardrobe in there...

I'm loving these dresses - thank you! Now just have to find the right balance of dress length, colour, size and price Smile
