Flipping short sleeves on everything and its freezing!

Some lovely dresses and tops about, but so many have short sleeves. What do you do when you want to wear things like this for work, during the day. I always think cardigans start to make an outfit look untidy. Would a fine long sleeved top look ok under things. It would need to be fitted iykwim, not tshirty cotton sleeved.
For example what would you do with this zara dress

Yes - layer it with a thin black long sleeved t-shirt under it. Or shove a blazer or fabric biker over it.

extra stuff under it means you'll have to undress when you get in the overheated office.

I'd wear a jersey or light fabric blazer instead of a cardigan.

Depending how smart your office is, how about arm warmers?

i'm a sahm so it doesn't matter too much but I have those long gloves without fingers that I wear (minus the bit with the thumb hole) and also some above the knee socks that I've cut the toes out of which I wear like detachable sleeves with elbow/3 quarter length sleeves...
