none of them look very low to me...

CheesyFeet · 28/09/2006 14:23

They don't have to be very low, just no higher than about 2" or I can't walk in them

OP posts:
CheesyFeet · 28/09/2006 14:23

Lowish

think I like the first ones best but I have wide feet and I find the ankle straps dig in.

CheesyFeet · 28/09/2006 14:27

Yes you're probably right about the ankle strap, I have chunky ankles and a strap would attract attention to them as well as dig in

I have seen a fabulous pair of boots on my surfing travels but a) I don't need boots and b) they are £100

I have these in black and red and the brown ones are rather nice too!

CheesyFeet · 28/09/2006 14:48

Dress code is smart casual - I get away with leather flip flops in the summer. I usually wear tailored trousers with a plain tshirt or somesuch.

I was looking for something slightly funky but perhaps I'll have to go with conservative [sigh]

I can't get away with a tiny kitten heel as it attacts attention to the fact that I have no ankles.

I love the second ones anniemac but they would look crap on me.

Do M&S do wide fittings?

OP posts:
CheesyFeet · 28/09/2006 14:54

These perhaps?

OP posts:

CheesyFeet · 28/09/2006 14:58

Evans on the high street. they do a range of shoes that are all wide fitting. the store is dedicated tolarger women so everything is specifically designed to be a little wider than normal.

there is a website as well i think

CheesyFeet · 28/09/2006 15:55

fattiemama - I am sitting here in my Evans boots Lurve their shoes - they are the only high street ones that fit me... can't see anything I really like atm

I think I have to abandon "really like" for "will do for work"
