Is there any worth buying at Baukjen?

I could do with a plain top or two and maybe a casual dress.
How do people find the quality of Baukjen? Any recommendations for tops or dresses? Any sizing info'?

Many thanks!

And what do their clothes look like on real people, rather than the beanpole lovelies in Ronnie Corbett glasses who model them in the catalogues? I love their dresses, with all that elegantly wrinkled fabric, then think sadly of the many areas of flab I have which would fill those wrinkles out properly.

I can't get past 'boyfriend' jeans either. I had those in the 90s. They weren't very flattering then.

The quality of the jersey is lovely, I have a ruched batwing dress and I have to be having a 'thin' day to wear it. Lovely stuff but I think you do need to be reasonably slim and or toned to wear some of it.

My friend has an entire wardrobe of baukjen stuff - it is v bodycon fitwise so the more toned/in proportion you are the better it will look

Thank you for the replies!
I am tallish and slimish so it might work on me.

dinkystinky- can you link to anything that you own and recommend if you have a free minute?
I am interested more in casual dresses/ tops rather than work wear as I don't need more work dresses at present.

Brilliant. That news has saved me a fortune. Cake

i have the jessica dress. it looks good (but i do wear it with spanx!)

mycatlikestwiglets · 05/10/2014 10:41

The extra long t's are brilliant for layering and wash well too. Good quality jersey. Wait for a code though as the prices are ridiculous unless discounted. I think the sizing is on the large side, particularly in length, and they show all lumps and bumps so I'd never wear one on it's own (I'm a 6-8 but only 5'3" and not super skinny - I have size 1 and find it roomy but clingy ifyswim!). If you're tall you'll probably find the length fine.

I have a Jessica dress, which is very unforgiving - I look fine in it, but do wear control pants (which were bought specifically for this dress!). Definitely size up in this one.

I have two of the jersey drape dresses, which are great. Very flattering, and very forgiving.

I also have a ruched skirt, which I love - I have the navy one and wear it lots, it's very flattering, and I'm considering buying it in grey too.

Sale on just now! I love it all, am especially coveting the leather dress but I couldn't justify the cost!

Am on phone so hard to link but my friend has literally all of the shorter length dresses (longer length ones work better if quite tall)
