Abercrombie parka for a 10 yearold.

(Long sigh). My hitherto fashion oblivious dd now wants an Abercrombie parka/padded jacket. She is very slight and small so I am not sure about the sizing and am not sure that they are warm enough as temperatures here (not UK) can be pretty raw ( she has a long wait in the morning before school starts). Has anyone got any advice (or alternatives). Thanks!

Abercrombie do kids sizing, you have to get it from the US

Thank you. Yes I know-but even the smallest kids size (140 cms) to my mind might swamp her. Unless they come up small..

Abercrombie clothing is miniscule. The women's clothing looks like the childrens department, the kids clothes are probably postage stamp sized.

Would she go for Hollister instead? At least you could go to a store and try them on. At the moment they have 20% off + free shipping online, but it costs £9 to return stuff Shock.

Thanks. No Hollister I'm afraid, but good to know they run small as the small might fit her. Any insight on the insulating qualities? I spend long hours at work worrying about her being cold!

She'd need Extra Small & if she is slight it will still be too big. My youngest dd is 148cm and 37kg, Extra small is still too big for most Hollister. Even my 16 year old who is 165cm and 50kg (she's finally grown!) only needs a small. They are adult clothes & sizes, not children's.
