Can I get away with wearing kids shoes?

Ive seen some boots I like in Next but they are kids shoes (Was originally looking for DD!)

Can I get away with buying Kids shoes? They do them in my size, just wondering if it might look abit odd if I turn up in the school playground and mums notice the same shoes as their children?
They don't look like Children's shoes. Plus they are cheaper than Adult shoes the same size.

Ive done it before with Trainers but they were identical to the adult ones (although about £20 cheaper!)

Ooh what a coincidence.. I've just bought some johnnie b boots from the eBay Boden store..

So, obviously my answer is yes! ( til they arrive and I look like an adolescence!)

Adolescent even!

I wear kids' boots, kids' dresses and kids' coats. It'll be fine.

I bought M&S kids sandals in a size 6 and wore them to death over the summer. Three of my friends bought some too!

Great idea- I have tried this but found them too narrow. Depends on your feet! if you can get away with it - brilliant. They are cheaper as have no vat. Vertbaudet do awesome boots up to a 5.

Venticoffeecup · 03/10/2014 21:58

I have done this in the past and it was fine.

Only thing is that I find kids shoes can be pretty shallow fittings, so I have to go on a case by case basis because I have deep feet.

Even if someone thinks "ooh those shoes look like my DC's" they'd never think they were actually kids shoes.

Not that it would particularly matter anyway since shoes look like, well, shoes. Not age specific once past toddler booties, until you get to high heels...
