I know that a lot of people think that these are horrible, but I'm desperately looking for a pair to contain my wobbly belly and at least give the impression of a waist. I've read that they're supposed to be in this season but I can't find a pair - I'd ideally like them in grey. Can anyone help?

You should ask Simon Cowell off X factor!!!!!!!!

Think maybe he bought them all!!!!!!

Sorry, but as soon as i read this, i just thought of him.

What size are you after?

Will keep a look out for you.

They will cover the tummy, but have you thought about what they'll do to your bottom? Or are you lucky enough not to have to worry?

Molesworth · 28/09/2006 13:12

They only seem to look good on women with flat stomachs (imo) ... a category I definitely don't fall into

Northerner · 28/09/2006 13:12

Nooooooooo. They will never be stylish. Agree yuor tum will be contained but your arese will be the size of a small country.

are talking really high-waisted or normal, pre- "low-rise" here?

Normal waisted trousers are fine

tooz · 28/09/2006 13:17

We've all watched trinny and susannah, high waisted trousers while containing offending tummy also manage to make it look bigger along with your bum. I am not convinced, fashion or no fashion.
