What do your teenage boys wear on their feet in winter?

I buy a pair of Clarks Goretex boots every winter for DS - black so he can wear them to school or at home.

This year, I cannot find anything. Sad
Mens sizes are £110 (which I don't want to pay because he'll outgrow them)

So, S&B Lovelies...........what other brands are out there for him.
Or am I looking at buying him a cheapish chunky soled pair of shoes and waterproofing them to within an inch of their life with spray from Blacks ?

My DS is nearly 16. We are lucky he is allowed to wear black trainers (no logo) to school and he picks his own, and makes sure they are waterproof.

Mine wear skate shoes all year round now, as being teenage they are appalled at the prospect of waterproof or walking boots. I might try to persuade them into DMs this year , though they aren't cheap.

Shearling lined converse hi tops have been a god send the last two winters

My OH is a teen at heart, he wears leather timberland boots, can be bought cheaper in sports direct

DS wears Clarks black lace ups to school, otherwise trainers. He has a pair of black DCs, red Pumas and blue Adidas suede.

DS wears black leather laceup shoes for school, hiking boots for everything outside, and slippers at home. He is devoted to Timberlands for school, which sounds extravagant but one pair bought in September each year has lasted all year because the leather gives nicely, and because now he's at secondary he no longer has to have 6 different pairs of boots and shoes as he did at prep school. And now he is a size 10, I am hoping he won't grow much more. Fortunately he does not aspire to branded trainers.

Kickers high tops for school and rare smart occasions. Nike high tops rest of time

Willies for walks.... Think there may be some resistance over that soon though
