Casual comfy shoes for when it's not cold enough for boots

I have lived in my skechers go walks since about April as they are so comfy. Not ideal now though when weather is cooler/wet. I don't like the leather go walks but want something just as comfy. Not trainers, but not "proper shoes" either. And not black. Preferably grey or tan I think, but open to suggestions. Ideally slip on, rather than having to faff with laces or buckles but that's not a deal breaker. Also smothering that's going to be ok when it's raining (not for puddle jumping, but so my feet are going to stay reasonably dry) For wearing mainly with jeans and (smart-ish) casual trousers, and comfortable enough for running around after two under-5's all day. Budget £50ish I guess. I don't want much, do I?! Any suggestions, please?

*something, not smothering. Stupid autocorrect.

I live in loafers till it's cold enough for boots.

Dr Martens Tisha comes to mind but they do have laces and if you didn't want black, you'd have to get cherry red (unless you find one of the other colours on eBay/elsewhere)...

Have a look in the Hotter catalogue. I can guarantee they are very comfy.

Those hotter shoes do look very comfortable - is there any in particular you'd recommend?

Another vote for Hotter. V comfy but you have to go in to try on as some are nanna shoes

Also check out Lands End
These Slip-ons are good value - if they have your size.

Clarks brogues?

Wenchelda · 05/10/2014 15:40

Thanks LadyMud - those lands end slip ons were just the sort of thing I was looking for. Found a voucher code for 15% off plus free delivery too so got a pair for £21!
