Pls help me find a wedding dress!

Morning All. Got engaged at the weekend (hooray!), to the wonderful if slightly slow off the mark father of my children. Hoping to get married in spring next year, and need some help finding a dress. It's my second wedding (so white frou frou isn't really appropriate), and I'm pushing 40, a busty & hip-ie size 12-14 and the mother of two. I'd like something a little bit unusual - maybe shorter than usual, sparkly, or coloured. I like the idea of navy blue and bronze/gold, plunging neckline (to make the most of my norks while I can). Budget under £750 (preferably a fair bit under...) Any ideas for where I could look? Am I being totally unrealistic? I'm a bit hopeless with fashion, so any ideas gratefully received. omg that Anglomania one is heaven. IMO you'd need the right colouring for the daytime with that but it's GORGEOUS.

I am going to suggest THIS simply because it is so fucking AWESOME. It's sort of bridal, but not really, but still fucking GLAM.

The Anglomania one does not sit well on the model - you can see it doesn't fit properly.

I was going to have a look, but I too love the anglomania one. It's gorgeous. It doesn't sit right on the model because she doesn't have curves.

It's not because the model doesn't have curves but because the bodice is too long.

Anglomania dresses tend not to fit very well.

That's strange, all the anglomania dresses I've tried on have fitted really well.

The model is wearing a size or two too big and has no curves.

The model is 5'10" and is wearing an Italian size 8. I agree it's too big for her, but given that the OP is size 12-14 she will need a bigger size so the waist will come up even lower.

I see a lot of women wearing Anglomania dresses in London and, aside from the jersey dresses which have stretch on their side, I've rarely seen one that fits or sits properly.

Surely if OP loves the dress she could have it adjusted to fit her perfectly?
