Best brand of high street jeans for apple shape?

I'm a size 14, but my waist measurement is 35 inches, my hips are 40. With most jeans I find they are too tight on the waist but baggy around the bum.

What brand would fit best? Preferably a medium to high rise and straight leg, dark blue, dark grey or black, not too expensive?

I live in red herring from Debenhams super skinnies. Super skinny just means they are like normal skinnies but allow for my waist. Tesco jeans also suit my shape well (12-14 Apple )

Sainsburys! I'm an apple and bought some from there last week, they actually fit properly and don't gape, and are proper jeans, not those paper thin stretchy things most places sell.

Plus they were are bargainous £16.

I thought super skinnies are just even tighter and narrower skinnies?

I am similar shape and have stuck to mid/lowish rise for years thinking high waists were Mumsy and unflattering but have recently splashed out on some Salsa high waist jeans. They're effing expensive (£80) but jeans are one of my 'choice' items. Flattering, tight in the right places and keep tummy in!

Super skinnies probably are on non-apples but if they fit my waist the legs/hips are usually too wide. They look normal on anyway, not even that tight, let alone skin tight.

I like Next 'relaxed skinny' - lots of variety ie colours, embellishment etc & cheap!

Thanks for the suggestions I really prefer straight jeans to skinnies. I'll have a look in Sainsbury's. Any other suggestions?
