Longer length tops and jumpers

I'm 5,7 so hardly a giantess but everything I try this year is coming up really short.

I've just had a look at Long Tall Sally but I'm not sure I'm tall enough for there?

Has anyone got any recommendations for longer length tops and jumpers please?

Sorry, don't have any suggestions but am 5,9 and struggle with this so am hoping that someone comes along with some good ideas :-)

It's so frustrating. I've put a Boden top on today and it looks fine when pulled down level with my hip bones. As soon as I move it rides up to rest just above my waistband which is the worst place in the world for a top to end post children!

I feel your pain. I'm 176 cm (sorry, European!) and I weight 60 kg, so it's not like I am carrying extra weight, but my back is really long, so many tops are just too short for me. I tend to wear shirts.

AsYouWish · 26/09/2014 09:22

Yep - I find myself constantly pulling the bottom of my tops down. Have started wearing longer vests (red herring ones) under tshirts which helps a bit but would just like some nice tops I could wear...hopefully someone will come along soon to help!

h&m have got some longer length jumpers ATM. I just got one yesterday

ZaraW · 26/09/2014 09:26

I am 5' 9" and shop at Cos and Me + Em.

VioletGoesVintage · 26/09/2014 09:26

What about Gap Tall? Only available online but a good casual selection and not too ££.

SpaghettiMeatballs · 26/09/2014 10:53

Thank you so much for recommendations. I will have a look in H&M next time I'm at the shops as I find their delivery so poor.

I didn't know Gap did a tall range. I love it! Just ordered 2 tops and 2 jumpers and got 15% off for signing up to the newsletter. Hope they are just right as they do say 5,9 +.

I've ordered one jumper from Cos as they are more expensive!!

I was about to post the same question. I am 5'7'' but I have short legs a long torso. Most tops are too short.

Also, all the jumpers I have bought this season seem to have a "boxy" cut,
which doesn't suit me at all. Where have all the fitted / figure-hugging jumpers gone?

SpaghettiMeatballs · 26/09/2014 16:37

I'll let you know how the Gap ones for a 5,7er Senatus.

I'm 5'6" and also find tops are short this year, so watching this thread with interest.

Lucked · 26/09/2014 16:58

There is also next tall online which has some tops and jackets but it is very limited. M&S are the worst there jumpers are so short, I am constantly leaving reviews pointing this out, shame as I lke their cashmere.

I tend to buy from lots of places but really scrutinise where the top falls on the model. I have got two nice tops from warehouse recently but the majority if the rest looked too short.

In the summer I got a some jumpers from zara mens dept in pink and cream but there winter collection is all male muddy and dark colours. I am considering uniqlo mens cashmere this year.

I am just over six foot tall and always have this problem. Last week I bought some really long tshirts, jumpers and cardigans from gap outlet. Were really good value and the length is perfect.

BabCNesbitt · 26/09/2014 19:27

Ha, I'm only 5'5" but have the same problem (and a really narrow back Confused). Someone must have put me on the rack when I was too drunk to notice.

Esprit is pretty good at longer tops.
