Wool capri pants/cigarette trousers for winter, maybe Boden wool bistro's

I have been wearing slim above the ankle length trousers a lot lately and love them but it's getting chilly now and I'd love a wool pair. I was sure there would be a pair in Whistles but no - theirs are cotton/poly. The only ones I've seen are the Boden wool bistro crops. Any suggestions?

BTW, I am pear shaped and want navy Smile

I want to know what people wear on their feet with them, when it's really cold and they need to be out. Brogues? Which socks though?

Yes to Boden but also check out Whit Company, think I have just spotted some navy wool slim fitting trousers - not sure if they would class as bistro? Sorry on phone so can't link

I've got the bistros (the animal print ones in navy-white-tan) but not wool (sorry!) I like them a lot and plan to wear them through winter with a navy knit and neutral coloured pop socks (perhaps not on snowy days though, if we get any in London this year Wink )

just to add, I wear them with ballet flats while on the move and change into heels when I get to the office. not a brogues fan

Thanks will have a look at White Co. As for footwear, I will wear with navy opaques and navy brogues, ballet flats, pointy flats and slipper style shoes. I think you can wear them with ankle boots but it all depends on the length of the trouser vs how high the boot comes up on the ankle
