Eye make up for hooded/droopy eyelids!!!

So after having Botox for migraine, I'm left with really droopy eyelids - I can't apply eyeliner along the top lash line, as the top lid just comes over it, hence why my mascara just smudges into the top part. Argh! So what can I do? I look angry & I don't like it! I need an eye lift! I need to wear make up, I'm fugly without it!

I look like that all the time Sad.

I was under the impression that botox could be used to help lift them.

Boots sell a tape that you can stick on the eyelid crease to minimise hooded eyes. It might be worth a look.

How about tight lining/using a push liner brush to apply powder/liner really close to the lashes?

If your mascara smudges, then maybe a tubing mascara will work for you?

There are videos on youtube about makeup for hooded eyes - some of them are pretty good.

Thanks for your replies!

I've had a look on amazon & ordered some of those eyelid tape things, for just over a £1 if they don't work I haven't wasted much £.

I'm becoming more annoyed each morning as I go to apply my eye make up - it's bordering on the ridiculous, it's got to the point now where there's no point in applying any eyeshadow or eyeliner on my lower lids because they are totally hidden now & mascara just gets smudged onto the top lids! :(

And to make matters worse, the Botox is doing sweet FA for the migraines :(
