Do you wear red lipstick as a daily choice?

I have been colour matched today and am pleasantly surprised, I chose I bright red from my selection which friends have said look great. I guess I just lack the confidence , is red lippie too much for work or should I be braver and embrace the look

I wear pink, berry tones or red more or less every day. Sometimes as a stain, other times full on - it depends on my mood and what I'm doing.

The more matte finishes seem to last really well on me.

Application and the right finish can make the lipstick last all day - if I apply directly from the bullet, it doesn't last very long. If applying with a brush, it lasts 6-8 hours.

Current favourites are:
Revlon Colorburst in 250
Mac Absolute Power (very similar to Ruby Woo, just not as matte)
Guerlain KissKiss in Red Passion (321)
Tom Ford Black Orchid - it doesn't last very long on my lips though
Mac Media - looks almost the same as Black Orchid but just more matte.
Mac Cherry and Chestnut lip liners - Cherry all over the lips, Chestnut in the corners for dimension. I get loads of compliments from strangers for this.
