what to wear with tan brogues?

I have a pair of the Clarks Hamble Oak patent brogues in burgundy which I absolutely love and which seem to go with everything. I'm toying with the idea of getting a tan leather pair next. I've seen people wearing them with slim leg or straight dark indigo jeans and they look great, but not sure what else would look good with them. Don't really want to buy them if they'll only go with one outfit.

Love them & they seem v comfy, but same as you I'm not sure what I's wear them with. I had my skinny jeans on & think they made my legs look fat(ter) & short(er). Watching….

I have had them for years and they go with lots of things! Opaque tights in black or purple and skirts/dresses, black or grey skinny or straight cut jeans etc.
