At what age wound you consider it to be "too old" to shop in New Look

Just that really. I'm 26 in 3 weeks I love new look, 98% of my wardrobe is from there. I'm a "big" girl and love their inspire range.

I don't know... I just think perhaps I'm getting a bit mature to shop in New Look? Am I being daft?

I shopped around online for clothes for bigger women and didn't really like any of the clothes. I tried Fashionworld, simply be, very, Evans, yours clothing and marisota. None to my liking.

I'm 36 and I still shop there. I see much older ladies there. Don't worry about it.

Only when they have nothing in stock that you would personally wear.

New look does classic basics that I think anyone can wear so you wouldn't stop at any age I don't think.

I'm 47 and I still occasionally find stuff in there! Usually when in there with dd though.

I'm sixty and I still shop there! Summer tops, blouses, cheap jackets etc, but the trousers are usually too low rise for me these days.

I'm late 30s and my basic work wear is all from new look, love their trousers.

I shop there and I'm 28 and never considered myself getting a bit too old for it. I'm not buying crop tops with cats on or anything I was in there with DM the other week and she bought a long cardigan. She's 60

My mil is in her 70s and happily shops there.

It depends on what you are choosing from their selection, I think.

Their basic spaghetti strap tops are the only ones that fit me nicely (tried Dorothy Perkins and they were just not right) so I'll be buying those for as long as they sell them.

My 70yo GM shops in there and buys the Inspire stuff.

I sometimes have a look; agree with the others about searching through the hotpants en route to other treasures though.

I'm 34 and am not shopping there much now. There's still some things I like but I find I want a better quality fabric etc now - cheap stuff just looks...cheap. Somehow you can pull this off when you're younger! I'd still get the odd bit there but normally I find things don't last long and I think it's a false economy.

I'm 31 and haven't found anything I like in there for at least 5 years now so I no longer even go in. I never felt their clothes were cut to suit me, tbh, and many of the fabrics just feel really cheap.

40 and still shop there so does my almost 18yr old, we have complete opposite tastes she wouldn't been seen dead in stuff I buy and I only wish I was younger to wear the clothes she buys

I'm 40 and I bought a fab jumpsuit there last week. But I buy online because I'm not mad keen on my local store. I can usually find something that suits me. I love their high waisted skinny jeans and their shoes are sometimes good too.

I'm 26 and find myself turning my nose up at the quality.
I've got 10yr old New Look stuff still going strong but stuff I've bought in the last few years are rags already.

Yea their T Shirts shrink after one wash .

But I agree with Msfreud - a lot of their stuff is a bit cheaply made and doesn't last long. Also, it's the DD's (13 and 11) favourite shop, and I think I'm cramping their style a bit nowadays.

I take my DDs in there and occasionally get something for myself. In my 40s.
