How do you get rid of whiteheads?

Just that really? I have quite a few and I simply just can't get rid. They won't squeeze easily. I am not aware of any products that deal with them. I was looking in boots today and most things seemed to be aimed at spots and blackheads. I don't want to be using anything that will dry my skin out. At 42 I don't want extra wrinkles as well as white heads!

Do you mean the tiny little white spots eg on your nose? Or do you mean pimples with white heads?

This is probably the worst possible thing to do, but it's a safety pin and a good squeeze for me. You can also get black/whitehead removal tools from pharmacies or supermarkets which I usually use in combination with a pin. Keep everything surgically clean, obvs.

Recurring whiteheads in an adult can also sometimes be an indicator of high cholesterol. Have you had yours checked?

Lie in a hot bath with a flannel over your face for a really good 20 mins. Then with a sterilised needle nick the top off and gently squeeze with tissue covered fingers. Do it at night so your skin has time to calm down.

They sound like milia rather than whiteheads.

I use a sterilised needle.
