Overseas online shopping...otherwise known as Boden is shit.

I just bought a pair of shorts from Boden UK site and paid £19 (AUS$34) The same shorts on Boden Australia are £34 (AUS$53). Even with international postage it's cheaper to buy from the UK site.

It's getting into summer here. It's been at least 27'c every day. Boden Australia seem to think that jumpers, coats and wool trousers are still required! Why not have all the summer clearance items available here also.

I'm moving to oz soon from NZ and will continue to order from the UK site as I don't think they get we are the opposite in terms of out seasons, just because we live in the Southern Hemisphere doesn't mean we are prepared to pay more plus I'm getting a bit fed up of the 12 pound postage when other companies for example next, atterley road and asos offer free delivery. I'm going off them a bit because I'm never sent a voucher or code over 10% even though I have a UK address and order heaps from them. Lately I've sent a lot back.
Maybe I should just stop using them and save my money.

Is there not an equivalent over there? It's so middle of the road and expensive even for us in the UK. You must have some decent shops?

Australian clothing is shite and overpriced.

I don't know about Boden but I sometimes order wool online and it is much cheaper ordering from abroad than in the UK as you don't have to pay VAT. Ordering from Next online is much cheaper than Next Japan too and they have free international delivery if you order over a certain amount.

DD visited Oz last year and said Sydney was hugely expensive.

I sympathise as I find plus size clothes in the UK are overpriced or tat or both. When I visit the USA I can buy beautiful clothes at very reasonable prices but even if those companies will ship to the UK the prices rise when converted to pounds. By the time you add shipping and import duty the prices are huge compared to over there.

I'm in the USA and always order from the UK Boden website. They knock off the vat and I try to get a good discount code or buy sale stuff, works well. My last order worked out to about half price before shipping.

I ordered from the Aus site recently -didn't even think to compare to the UK site. Thanks for the tip!
