Looking at getting a few bits for daytime wear with baby. Anything good as they can be hit and miss?

If you are looking for mostly natural fabrics (e.g. cotton) go for their L.O.G.G. range, especially the t-shirts.

The whole range is quite casual though so if you like something a bit dressier you'll have to check the labels as they use a lot of polyester in their other ranges.

No help here, I fin the H&M at Lakeside is one of The Seventh Circles of Hell.
Cannot find my way out. Everything really close together. I get really claustrophobic in there.
The local one is miles better.

(DD buys things in there, it doesn;t suit my raddled old duffer body)

But I was trying to work out Anything GOLD in H&M and thinking gold seriously. Like sequins and stuff gold Shock

Relieved to see it's anything GOOD Wink

DD loves the H&M leggings (but she's a mini size 6 )

No.

The stuff looks so nice online. Then you're in the store and it's just a mess

I like their LOGG relaxed fit chinos. Flattering alternative to jeans for pear shaped people

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 21/09/2014 07:34

What Lord said, except that I have found a few things in there lately. Definitely somewhere I have to go into in real life. Their website photos do not accurately represent the items. It's like they have a £££ filter on the camera to make it all look good quality. Then you see most of it in person.

This blazer looks nice and is reasonable in terms of fabric. I had one similar from a few years back and it was a good shape. Agree it is best to rummage in the shop, and look out for natural fabrics.

Lordnoobson · 21/09/2014 08:58

Yup. I've seen thd blazer on. It's nice. In our store it's all crumpled

plentyofshoes · 21/09/2014 09:36

Thank you. I keep looking on line at the trousers, but again the sizes have been hit and miss in the past.
I may have to brave it, the one near me is ok ish.

Yesterday I bought grey marl figure fit coat 34.99 - a fraction of the same similar one I'd been eyeing up in Zara. because I'd been so frugal I rewarded myself with a camel coloured waterfall cardi 14.99 and an animal print mini tube skirt 3.99. Smile

Lovely grey textured-knit cashmere jumper in mine for £50, but probably not useful if you've a baby.
