Something to cover my arms with this dress....

Thinking of buying this dress for a wedding:

I'd like to cover my upper arms and so I need something to go with it - any ideas/suggestions?

Nothing too expensive as I probably wont wear it again :) I'll also need shoes and a bag.

I may go for the navy instead but I do quite like the Berry colour.

Thank you kind Mnetters.

Any of these suitable?

What sort of budget are you looking at for the cover up? TBH I'd just combine dress and cover up budget and a get a dress with sleeves. No point in sleeveless when you want your arms covered.

John Lewis shrugs and boleros

Whilst I agree with MrsLettuce I have found it impossible to find sleeved dresses that actually fit and suit my body shape post menopause midriff so I end up going for sleeveless with a coverup for special occasions too.

Sorry - I got called away to an urgent game of scrabble :)
I'll have a wee look though those links now.

Yes isit I haven't been able to find anything that fits as well as that one that I like. I don't wear many dresses, I prefer a wrap style but the one I linked to is a good alternative and it comes in a tall fit which I like too.

As for budget - if it is something that i would get more use from then maybe about £35-40, if it's just for this then a bit less would be good :)

I don't go to many events anymore so I have work clothes and casual clothes and not much else.
