Is this ok for winter colourwise or is it really a summer skirt?

You can wear in the winter. I would just coordinate with darker colours.

It depends on the weight of the material. But if that skirt was black I would feel comfortable wearing in the winter.

Mammuzzamia · 20/09/2014 14:52

You could probably get away with that in Winter

Twinklestein · 20/09/2014 14:54

I think you can get away with it in winter.

The material isnt really thin. Its a medium weight jersey. its very comfy, I would probably wear with a long black tunic and boots? or would you suggest other shoes? I am not a pointy toe type shoe person. its just not me. I kind of wear chunky shoes as i like it to be a bit funky.

Definitely wearable in winter, with tights and ankle boots.

I have one almost identical except mine is from Sainsburys and cost about as much as a pint of milk

Coumarin · 20/09/2014 15:07

Stripes/Breton better be wearable in Winter...

Greengardenpixie · 20/09/2014 15:07

ha ha...yes, its probably a bit expensive for what it its really. I might have a look around and see what else there is. I really like the style of it but i am not a fan of skirts for winter with a white background even although it has equal measures of black.

I've got one and I think it'll be fine for winter although it's only a single layer, unlike the other Whistles tube skirts.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 20/09/2014 16:38

I'd wear it in winter, with opaques and ankle boots. I think a shorter one would be more useful though. I really rate the Whistles ones - expensive but worth it.

mysteryfairy · 20/09/2014 17:10

I would wear it in winter and I think it's really nice. Don't buy it from next though unless its a way of getting rid of vouchers. Wait for grazia 25% off and buy from whistles!

Think I might have to get one of the infamous whistles tube skirts too. Heard only good things on here.
