Straight duffle coats on curvy hourglass figure - opinions please!

Hi all, I am really coveting last year's Zara duffle (www.lyst.com/clothing/zara-duffle-coat-with-fur-hood-black/). Now, this may be a silly question, but would that be a silly shape for an hourglass figure (think Kim K. with not quite as nice legs)? It seems to be VERY straight. My last coats were either swing duffle or nipped in parka. I tried the new model, but didn't like all the faff, and prefer the beige fur on last year's model. Also, the older model is slightly longer.

Dilemma is both my coats have seen more than two winters, but haven't seen anything remotely nice until came across this one.

Opinions much appreciated!

It wouldn't make me look very slim, but then I buy coats for warmth, and not style.
Could you add a belt to it??

Sorry, are you worried about the buttons doing up weirdly or something? Not sure what your issue is.

I think as is, it would make you look like a dumpling. I can't tell if it's lined - could you take it to an alterations place for some fine tuning?

It would make me look like a dumpling too - not trying to be insulting!
