Any recommendations welcome. There's so many out there it's hard to decide. We got caught in the downpour today and realised poor DD was soaked through.

Jojomaman ones get rated and they look lovely. How much do you want to spend and are you bothered by colour and style or just want it to be waterproof!

Didrikson's. They are expensive but my children's are about to go through their third winter (extendable arm seams). When these ones finally get too small I'll eBay them and buy another set.

For summer we have North Face waterproofs.

We bought a Hatley waterproof this year- its lined with terry cotton and they come in loads of patterns. Ours was from Amazon, here www.amazon.co.uk/Hatley-Girls-Patterned-Bears-Years/dp/B00G0WMSMK/ref=sr_1_3?s=clothing&ie=UTF8&qid=1411156766&sr=1-3 its lovely and excellent quality

We have Hatley as well, only downside is that it has poppers and DD struggles with these, it didn't matter when at nursery but now she's started Reception she is supposed to do it herself. they are excellent quality though and it's nearly two years old and still fits her

Polarn o Pyret do lovely colourful waterproof coats which you can add a fleece to to increase warmth. MN discount too!

NormHonal · 19/09/2014 21:11

Hatley coats are lovely, but DD was wearing one and got caught in a recent downpour - not waterproof!

For waterproof look at Didrikson's, Polarn O Pyret, Trespass, Regatta, etc.

I gave into style and bought a Hatleys one, not that waterproof! But it's lovely. My boys have didricksons and north face which are fab.

ThisBitchIsResting · 19/09/2014 21:41

Also may have just bought a Hatley one for DD, they're lovely!
