Boden ravello top

Just ordered some more as they're my "over heated room work place" staple.
I'm toying between the two bird ones. Grey or navy. Son says he likes both but I fear two bird tops might make me look nuts.

Anyone bothered to opine?

Grin Belinda!

Yes, not keen on the brown.

AmberNectarine · 19/09/2014 22:37

I love the birds. Don't listen to them.

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 19/09/2014 22:43

Boden need us to come in and give them a helping hand.

Now, Johnny, no to that lining. It's not cute and fun. Really.

Ok, Johnny, great leopard print, but what about some more subtle colours. You could do black and khaki, that might be good for this season. The brown is not a goer. Neither is the red.

Don't forget to do the top in ivory, every season. Some people wear out their clothes, and always need staples.

You get the drift. We could be rich w our consulting endeavours. Rich!

And no to the rain coat that looks like a clitoris.

I'll let you explain that one to Johnny. I will be sniggering in the corner, peeking through my fingers.

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 19/09/2014 23:00

Eww, you are right. Very, um, gynaecological.

lurkingaround · 19/09/2014 23:15

Oh my!! That's a gynae diagram! What with M&S David Gandy video thing and now Boden's gynae diagrams, I don't know what's happening on S&B. Grin

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 20/09/2014 03:12

[clutches pearls and passes lurking a sherry] I know, and it used to be so nice around here [dramatic sniff]

AmberNectarine · 20/09/2014 06:20

Woah at that raincoat. How did quality control not see that??

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 20/09/2014 10:39

That raincoat is an abomination.

I don't get the horror about the brown on the leopard print one. Aren't leopards, erm...brown?

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 20/09/2014 14:42

Remus - I think that particular brown looks a bit drab. Squinting into my phone, I think the animal print tops would benefit from being 3 colours, ideally, if not 2 better matched colors. I like leopard print in white, tan and black, for eg, or, failing that, a light and v dark shade of grey. The print just looks a bit simple and the colors a bit basic. Probably clear as mud what I am going on about.

pinkfrocks · 20/09/2014 15:18

oh not the Fanny Mac again! My eyes, my eyes!

Am I looking at a different top, Belinda? The one I like is a deep navy, with a fairly bright orangey-tan and white leopard print. I honestly can't see anything drab about it and it deffo has three shades.

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 20/09/2014 23:11

This is what I'm talking about, Remus m.boden.co.uk/en-GB/Womens-Tops-T-shirts/Long-Sleeved-Tops/WL850/Womens-Animal-Print-Top.html?awc=1669_1411251030_29833ec79c9414fda00d567ddbabafe0&sc=X6H7&cm_mmc=AWUK--78888--AW14_ADULT_D1_FDR-_-text. What you think - agree or am I cream crackers crazy?

Lordnoobson · 20/09/2014 23:12

Remus is on about the ravello. I have that one blinners. It's nice. The ravello has brown

OP posts:
Lordnoobson · 20/09/2014 23:13

I don't like the orangey brown here

Oh, right. The brown Ravello is called Vintage Rose? Yes, the leopard Ravello uses 3 shades of colour, which I prefer to two as per the animal print top. Still, overall Johnny needs our help. As good as some of it is, much of it could be a bit better. Whistles do great prints, so they could copy take inspiration from their print styles and colours.

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 20/09/2014 23:20

Ignore - I finally understand. I have had wine so am not v sharp.

Lordnoobson · 21/09/2014 09:08

Lol. No the pink ravello is irrelevant.

OP posts:
BelindaAllWorkedOut · 21/09/2014 09:22

I'm not feeling v LOL today. More coffee, I think.

BTW not exactly on point for this thread, but those gold spangly flats from Boden are v appealing to me. Like the altar of a Sicilian cathedral all over my feet - bling galore.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/09/2014 10:03

Grin I thought you (or I) had gone absolutely bonkers, Belinda! (Whispers) and now I know that it was you! Pours more coffee...

I don't do bling. Bling shoes and I are never going to be friends.

BettyMoody · 27/09/2014 09:41

Wore the grey one yesterday. Looked ace with navy
