Please help me find a nursing dress to wear to wedding that hides wobbly belly and other bits.

I have a wedding to go to in a month, DS4 will be 7 weeks old.

I put on a lot of weight (2 sizes) while pregnant, and there is no way I can lose it in time as I broke my leg and other bones at 6 months and can't do much exercise, all I can do is core strength stuff and I have a long way to go with that, I'm still very wobbly. I may be able to do some of the day on crutches, but most will be in a wheelchair.
My self esteem has taken a bit of a knock as I have had to be very dependant and will continue to be for some time yet. This will be my first outing since and I would like to look nice for myself and also for DH who has been my absolute rock.

So if possible my outfit needs to

Hide my still wobbly tummy
Cover my chunky thighs and knees (pear shape)
Show off my boobs (usually an a cup, presently a dd)
Be suitable for breastfeeding

I will probably be wearing a support boot, it's pretty ugly so I was thinking maybe a maxi would be good to cover it. I can't fit my foot into normal shoes anyway anymore even if I didn't have to wear it.

I am 5'9" and size 14/16 I think.

Have a look at babes with babies. I have the Zoe dress and it's lovely, looks like Magic maxi might fit the bill for you?

What about separates?

navy wide leg trousers to the floor would cover the boot and the side zip means a smooth silhouette.

Then you could choose a pretty embellished tunic or blouse, ideas:
navy mint velvet
warehouse blue or turquoise
biba print
wallis blue print

Hi, sorry I've not been back sooner-colic time!

bakingtins I really like the magic maxi although they only have black or navy- I guess I could add a bright wrap or something?

FauxFox those trousers look great! and I really like the first top you linked, but it would be quite hard to feed in I think. I hadn't really considered trousers as I'm not sure I will feel dressed up enough to fit in (it will be quite glam), but perhaps if I can find the right top?

What do you think of this? I'm not sure about the colour. Or the lace. Hmm.

I asked a similar Q a couple of weeks ago - someone recommended a site called Lindybop - some lovely dresses on there. There's also jojo maman bebe's wrap dress £39...

Thanks Flossie, I can't seem to get the Lindybop site to open right now, I'll have a look tomorrow.
