Do converse type trainers always feel LONG to start with? I look like a golf club.

My new shoes arrived today. Have tried them on but they feel long. I could possibly go a size smaller but they do seem comfortable enough and I have wide feet.

My question is, will they bend with use so the toe comes up and so not look so long?

i bought these

Converse come a long way up the foot creating the flipper effect IMO. Those look similar in style. I doubt wearing them will make a difference as it's not the toe that is causing the illusion.

I don't think they are very Converse like at all.

All trainers look like flippers on me. I have really narrow feet and they just feel and look like boulders.

i'm sending them back, will find something less flippery.
