Whistles Leather Jacket: Advice desperately wanted please.

So after biker jacket for ages and now have saved up enough. But there is one on ebay which looks so similar to new one. Am wondering whether it is a fake or what? £200 difference in price. I am not bothered about it being last year's style as let's face it, these are kind of timeless.

Which would you go for?

Even if it's a fake (really unlikely, never heard of
Whistles stuff being faked as not high end enough) you can send it back.

Listen, if there's any problem with it as a buyer on eBay you (IME) hold all the cards...get it and see what you think.

I doubt its a fake. It looks a more cropped style than the current one you linked to, is that a problem?

Alternatively, if your nerves can stand it, you could hold out for the Grazia 25% code which will no doubt come out in the next couple of weeks an buy the current one...?!

I'd go for it! The current Whistles one is a shade nicer IMO, but really only a shade.

Update...it was too short and quite boxy. I just didn't like it so am saving up for that Grazia code. Thanks for advice.

Ah, that's a shame. Sometimes only the real deal will do though, so fair play to you for saving up and waiting for something you love.

That's a shame. Don't let it put you off buying on eBay though, if the Grazia code still doesn't allow you to stretch to a current one, there are plenty of Whistles bikers for sale, new and used in good condition, on there. A good quality leather jacket won't suffer from being pre-worn, if anything it improves it. In fact, after looking at your link above, I am watching one in a style I've had my eye on for a while - if I win it I will blame you entirely for making me spend the money!!
