What's the best T shirt bra?

MrsOomBoomBoom · 14/09/2014 20:36

Got measured today at Boux Avenue. I've gone from a 34D to a 30D/30DD! Wowzers Shock Anyway I bought a lovely padded balconette lace bra in light blue with matching undies for my wedding anniversary next weekend. But day-to-day I wear padded T shirt bras.

Can you recommend brands for decent everyday T shirt bras that come in that size? Preferably ones that make me look a bit bigger Wink

Thanks in advance Thanks

I'm still googling! Is the wonderbra t shirt bra any good, does anyone know?

Yes I love the wonderbra everyday bra. I have loads of bras but I nearly always end up wearing the wonderbra everyday bra. Really comfortable and a good shape.

Bunbaker · 15/09/2014 07:07

I'm a 32B and find the M & S ones fit me beautifully.

Yes I am a 32B because I measured myself using MN methods not M & S methods. I find a 30 back way too tight.

MrsOomBoomBoom · 15/09/2014 07:34

Thanks Villa.

Bun I was thinking I should head down to M&S and try on their bras. A lot cheaper than wonderbra!

I go to M&S or Asda for my t-shirt bras. They both usually have my size which is a miracle (32GG).

I am a 32E and love Prima Donna satin bras. Have them in black, nude and ivory. Expensive but amazing support and pretty.

^ the best bra EVER. I swear by this bra, it is so comfortable and if it fits correctly, it gives such a lovely shape. It's moulded though, not padded (but it's like a hug for your boobs and is just amaaaazing)

The Wonderbra plunge t-shirt bra, I'm not sure if that's the one that has been mentioned. Has it got really thick padding? If it has, it's probably the one I'm thinking of, and it's also really good. Great for a cleavage!

Jumblebee · 15/09/2014 09:42

Also, the debenhams bra I linked to is also part of the Gorgeous collection so goes up to an H cup they finally decided to make it in my size yeyyyy

standingonlego · 15/09/2014 09:48

I love this one, really comfortable and smooth lines. 32f here :)

Panache Porcelain Bra

YouHaveBeenOutbid · 15/09/2014 11:51

Did you look at Boux Avenue's T shirt bras? I love them. I have every colour and am a repeat purchaser. (I'm 32e).

MagpieMama · 15/09/2014 12:21

Before I spent my life in breastfeeding bras, I always wore Tesco t-shirt bras. They're very comfortable and supportive. They're also very affordable so great for day to day wear.

HotPinkWeaselWearingLederhosen · 15/09/2014 12:26

Another fan of panache here. Lovely shape and hugely comfortable.

Lucylloyd13 · 15/09/2014 14:39

Another vote for Asda, great bras, great price

Karbea · 15/09/2014 16:57

I love this bra! it's so comfy and looks a bit nicer than some t shirt bras.

FannyBlott · 15/09/2014 17:26

I have just discovered the Freya Deco. It's a padded plunge but works really well as a t shirt bra (and gives fab cleavage for lower cut tops).
Before this discovery I wore panache porcelain or Cleo Juna. Both really good bras but they weren't quite right for me, the Freya Deco suits my shape much better.

flingingmelon · 15/09/2014 17:57

M&S cut their bras too high. If I put one on with a vee neck tee I end up flashing bra at everyone. I'm still searching for a good one.

Bunbaker · 15/09/2014 18:00

I don't find that fling. I don't wear very low neck tops of v necks without a vest top underneath though because I have no cleavage Sad

MrsOomBoomBoom · 15/09/2014 19:19

Oo thanks for all your suggestions!

I have just ordered the Debenham bra and wonderbra in several sizes as I have a 15% off code for bras (good timing!). I can always send them back for free if they don't fit.

oh and code is HM97 Grin

velveteenbunny · 15/09/2014 20:30

Heleng1982 · 15/09/2014 20:33

I've got 6 t shirt bras from asda I paid £4 each they are so comfy . I've got a pink , yellow, a couple of white and black Smile

Redtartanshoes · 15/09/2014 20:35

I'm a 34f and swear by Asda t shirt bras. At £4 I replace every few months but they are fab

mooth · 15/09/2014 21:59

Triumph.

MrsOomBoomBoom · 23/09/2014 17:10

The wonderbras just didn't fit right. Nor did Ultimate. The Debenhams gorgeous one didn't either. So I went in store today, thought I'd make use of the 25% off. I found a Debenhams own brand t shirt bra that fitted nicely in the end, a more balconette style, and a strapless one. And bonus their till crashed halfway through the transaction so I got an extra 10% off for my patience Grin Thanks for your advice ladies xx
