Are they comfy? Can i wear trainer socks with them or is that a no no? I have really sensitive feet so i suppose they would either have to be extremely comfortable or i would need trainer socks.

Any decent quality brands you would recommend?

Thanks!

Ive just spotted these:

I'm smiling because you're on the no-spend thread Grin

PinkAndBlueBedtimeBears · 14/09/2014 18:39

I think they depend entirely on the size of your feet, I'm an 8 and look stupid in things like that because it makes me look like a clown, my friends with size 4/5/6 feet look fab in them!

CoconutAmericano · 14/09/2014 18:39

I know i know! But i do have a €100 allowance for the month. Ive so far spent €60 of it on silver boots, ahem. I now have €40 i have to blow woo hoo Grin

I have size 8 feet too but having big canoe like trotters doesn't bother me for some reason!

They look nice.
I've tried Gap's animal print ones and they were nice on.

'GLAMOUR' will get you 25% off.

I bought these - they're super comfy and half-price at £20. Fashionistas need not apply but I love them!

I think they would work with neutral trainer socks, or depending on your age maybe some of the frilly ankle socks ?

msfreud · 14/09/2014 19:50

Can you not get those no-show socks that won't be visible? H&M usually does them and TK Maxx has loads too.

frankietwospots · 14/09/2014 22:53

I have sooo many pairs of slip-on trainers! I have the Gap leopard ones that they did last year. I also have the Kurt Geiger Laurel which are by far and away my faves (there is a 20% discount code around at the moment):

I also have a couple of pairs from Top Shop and these navy ones from H&M which I got with 25% off: www.hm.com/gb/product/28144?article=28144-A

I wear all of them without socks but the Kurt Geiger's are definitely the comfiest.

HandMini · 14/09/2014 23:01

I bought a pair for the first time this summer - totally converted, I love the. And these ones are stylish, I promise!

These are nice too but limited sizes left

CoconutAmericano · 15/09/2014 08:18

Thank you all for the fabulous links. Id wear them all! Unfortunately my tv and internet died last night so im only seeing them now. I went ahead and bought the green Gap ones. If i like them i have to buy leopard print ones! The Asos ones are great value.
I will have a look in h&m for the socks. I am 37 so wont get away with frilly socks. My 5 year old has a pair on this morning for school so eh, no!!
