Talk to me about trousers for the fat of thigh

I am gut sick of wearing jeans and now it's getting nippy don't want to wear skirts either. I am 42 and totally stuck in a rut. Tbh I was a little light on the style front to begin with...
Anyway I've got it into my head that I want some stylish trousers for Autumn but my legs are very chunky and thick in the thigh. I'm about a size 10-12 on my bottom half (huge arse too but I quite like it)
Does anyone know of any stylish trousers I can get that would fit the brief?
Any help gratefully received!

I'm pear shaped, heavy of thigh and quite sway backed. Lovely! It's really difficult to find trousers that don't crease and pull across the tops of the thighs and into the crotch.

I'm bigger than you at a size 14 and I've got 7/8ths trousers from M and S and oasis, Gap real straight khakis (size down) and a pair of straight leg work trousers from sainsburys. I wore wide leg trousers for years which mostly fitted badly but were baggy to hide it but now there are more straight legs around I've actually found them better as long as they've got plenty of stretch.

I got some from Jaeger sale which are sort if straight legged chinos and weirdly flattering. They are cotton with some elastane and relatively high waisted and I suppose a fairly classic style - would never have thought of Jaeger if John Lewis hadn't rammed all their sale stuff together!

I just bought 2 pairs of black trousers in debenhams, they were star by Julian macdonald. Honestly they are great, very very flattering. I'm size 10-12 and 5'2". But very curvy. They fit like a glove. I was getting sick and tired of my although not huge tummy, post 5 babies skin hanging over the top. They are higher waisted and have flattering angled pockets that are zipped.

I deal with this by never wearing trousers. Ever. Smile

I have muscular biggish thighs compared with the rest of me and can never get skinny jeans to fit. Was pleasantly surprised by Fat Face- nice chinos (and jeans though you don't want these- narrow straight leg, smallish waist). Also Gap chinos but go 2 sizes down - they stretch A LOT after a day's wear (and the waists are huge).
