HELP! I have an informal meeting to discuss a job

As title says I need help in what to wear to a meeting I've been invited to about a job I am being offered, but have no idea what to wear!

It's kind of like an interview but as it's an informal chat I don't want to turn up suited and booted! What could I wear that is smart but could also pass for normal daywear?

All help gratefully received! Grin

Don't ever underestimate an informal chat.

Depends on where you are meeting, what sector it is in.

If it was me, I would either wear a simple dress I.e the sort I would wear in the office, or a pair of smart trousers, a simple top and probably shoes with some heel.

trousers, tshirt, blazer? depends what kind of job really

Yes, agree with Polly. Treat an informal chat as an interview as that is what it is - both in terms of the way you dress and how seriously you take it. Prepare as if it was an interview.

Informal chats ime are interviews where they skip the crap, have the chat and offer you the job Grin

Smart colourful dress, black fitted jacket and black heels. Good hair and makeup, a confident stance, smile and handshake.

Still undecided! Possibly a dress with fitted jacket. Only have tomorrow if I'm going to buy anything new Confused

Business wear definitely - treat it as an interview.
