Nice workwear trousers for a size 14-16 pear (ish) shape?

My workplace is smartish (suits for meetings but smart casual otherwise). I tend to wear skirts or shift dresses but now it's getting colder really need some advice on trousers. I sometimes wear black skinny jeans with a jacket/jumper on Fridays but I need some trousers that are a bit smarter.

I'm a size 14/16 pear shape, quite tall but long in the body so not leggy iyswim. Cigarette trousers give me parsnip legs look horrible on me. I'm happy to pay up to £100 per pair for absolutely-the-right-thing trousers.

Can anyone help? TIA

Have you ever looked at Banana Republic? I find them good for work wear and I am a pear. I know the parsnip effect of which you speak!

I think it's the Martin fit that I try first in BR.

Thanks - I've got some really nice tops and shoes from BR but never tried their trousers. I feel a shopping trip coming on

And oddly, John Lewis Collection seem to cut ok for pears on some trousers.

Might give these a go.
