Basically as the title says..
Getting married in the middle of November and no bridesmaids dresses... Preferably high street as a bit worried about buying online no more than £100. Any ideas? Thanks

M & S

BHS

John Lewis

readyforno2 · 11/09/2014 22:17

Thanks. The bhs one is lovely. I really like the John Lewis one but not sure if it's bridesmaidy enough

They had more but they were in the sale so not many sizes left but I am sure there would be more choice in store. Congrats by the way Flowers

jimmybim · 11/09/2014 22:25

Coast?

jimmybim · 11/09/2014 22:27

Planet

MrsLettuce · 11/09/2014 22:29

What sizes / shapes are your bridesmaids? How many will there be?

jimmybim · 11/09/2014 22:32

Wallis

Lucked · 11/09/2014 22:35

Online but easily returned or you might have a shop near you.

readyforno2 · 11/09/2014 22:42

6 bridesmaids
All probably around a 10-12.
Aged between 21-34
I love that house of Fraser one.
We have looked at the Wallis one already and one doesn't like the material, one doesn't like the neckline.
I'm happy for them to wear different dresses but would like them to be the same colour and material. Ultimately I want them to be comfortable.

also available at John Lewis
if you need lots!

MrsLettuce · 11/09/2014 23:10

6! Crikey.

teal long. Teal is darker than that to me though
OTT silver

I really like bridesmaids in simple dresses though. Maybe something like
this one. Less distracting from the bride Wink

readyforno2 · 12/09/2014 07:14

I know. Crazy eh?
I'm trying not to be a bridezilla but it's hard as none of them agree on anything! Angry

The OTT silver one that MrsLettuce suggested is absolutely STUNNING.

kaykayblue · 12/09/2014 10:19

THIS ONE is more glam and a bit less super classic if you want a full length one.

FamiliesShareGerms · 12/09/2014 14:14

Long dress

FamiliesShareGerms · 12/09/2014 14:19

Lots of styles here. You could send them a choice of three of four different styles but in the sane fabric and ask them to choose their own mix and match?

hellsbellsmelons · 12/09/2014 15:55

Sod them, this is your day.
You need to minimise them.
You don't want to be upstaged on your big day.
It's not long now and you need to make a decision.
So YOU make it and they will have to suck it up or sod off.
Blimey, I just can't imagine saying to the bride that I didn't like something she had chosen for me.
Time to get tough!
NICE and not too flashy
not sure about shipping
bargain?

hellsbellsmelons · 12/09/2014 16:01

something long
very DARK silver?
too clashy with the bride?
COAST
similar in teal
And if they complain then they have to choose from one of the following pics HERE

hellsbellsmelons · 12/09/2014 16:03

And if they still complain then get these made up!!! Grin

I love the silver JL one in the first reply. Quite bridesmaidy enough!

ImATotJeSuisUneTot · 12/09/2014 16:13

I also love the silver JL one. Six of those would be obviously bridesmaidy. Smile

Oly4 · 12/09/2014 22:13

I love the Planet one in the house of Fraser link... Will be good quality if it's planet and a 59 sale bargain!

Hebburnisaplaceonearth · 13/09/2014 07:45
