Why won't my foundation stay on my nose?!

It's beginning to get ridiculous.

No matter what foundation I use, no matter how I apply it it just sits on my nose like a streaky film. I look silly.

Anyone else had this happen?

Yes with almost every foundation I try. I stick with a mineral foundation now which is great.

Ahh me too!! The only thing that helps me make it stay on longer is putting a strong mattifying primer just on my nose and t-zone (I use no7 beautifully matte primer) topped off with a dusting of powder ontop. These two things help keep it on longer otherwise it doesn't last long on me either Smile

I agree with primer and powder. Dr Brandt pores no more pore refiner used as a primer is the best I've found.

Lanacane anti chaff gel, use as a primer. Seriously.

revlon colorstay is one of the only foundations that stays on my nose.
primer doesn't help me (have not tried dr brandt though or the Benefit porefessional one which is also supposed to be quite good for this).
Powder does help (Hourglass Ambient powder) with other foundations but you must press and roll it on, otherwise it just takes the makeup straight off.

Powder first, wipe off (or buff all but some off with a brush), then foundation, set with powder.

I've had this trouble for years...until I tried Estée Lauders Double Wear. It's amazing, I work in a really hot atmosphere & it doesn't budge an inch.

SauvignonBlanche · 12/09/2014 19:41

I get this too.

SublimeCorpse · 12/09/2014 20:51

Oh my goodness, I thought it was just me!

Using Revlon Colourstay, will try the lanacane as primer as I have some at home.

It's just so odd that it's only my nose!

Thanks for the advice Smile
