frizzy dry hair - best cures?

I have thick, quite long hair but the condition of it recently is awful, really dry and frizzy. What are the best hair masks/ leave in conditioners to use?

IC Brazilian Hair Oil Keratin Spray Treatment - Super Concentrated - 171ml is lovely as a mask or a couple of drops run through after washing

Loreal elvive extraordinary oil.

Coconut oil as a treatment.

This stuff.

It has completely transformed my thick coarse mop. Expensive but so worth it!

Here's what works for me:
Body Shop Rainforest shampoo, twice a week
Body Shop Rainforest Hair Butter, but use as a leave-in, apply to soaking wet hair with Umberto Giannini gel on top
Wrap soaking wet hair in old t-shirt, not towel
Leave to dry a bit for 10 minutes
Remove t-shirt and allow to air dry (make take hours and hours!)
Avoid touching while drying
Never ever use a brush on your hair and only comb when its wet and preferably coated in conditioner

Some people swear by Elvive Extraordinary Oil but it would do nothing for my hair and possibly yours - its full of silicone which just sits on the top of the hair and doesn't actually penetrate or nourish it at all

Coconut oil is a great mask - apply to damp hair, really work it through each strand, and leave for as long as you can, I usually manage 2 hours. Then shampoo out

Personally I love silicone, my hair is awful without itGrin

I alternate with a moisture rich mask and then the following week a protein one. If you have frizzy hair you need to stay away from silicone and SLS.

I tried nearly 3 months of silicone and what not free-I had hair like straw, it was dreadfulGrin
