Is there such a thing as mascara which doesn't run/smudge?

Have recently tried Clinique and MAC but end up looking like I've two black eyes after only a few hours. Is it me or is it the mascara. Any brands to try next?

rimmel waterproof always works really well for me... but takes a bit of a scrub to get it off

pout sell an amazing japanese one. it never runs and comes off with normal water and soap, which is great, but the downside is that it leaves little spidery bits of mascara in the sink.

that Pout one was mentioned in the Saturday Times Magazine today which interested me...
where is Pout - can you buy online?

Okay ... sounds good. Saw that article in the Times bagpussmice ... lucky her having makeovers with three different counters! Same article? Must re-read it to see what she says about Pout.
