Heels keep catching on bottoms of my trousers!!

Does anyone else find their high heels catching on the hems of their trousers is it just me!!

It ruins the bottoms of the trousers and several times in the office I have very nearly tripped once while carrying a tray of hot drinks down the stairs!!

Any advice or solutions please?

oh GOD I share your pain.
I once went a over t on some cobbles after a party, falling heavily on my shoulder in front of a load of people - it was a cocktail party, so the assumption was probably that I was p*ssed, which is fine apart from the fact they were all barristers and I'd told them I was going to get into my car.

Did it again last week, again on exiting a party, this time right in front of my bosses (but recovered & didn't fall) - it was one of those "everything goes silent in the room" moments, and they all cheered when I didn't fall over.

So not only am i trashing my trousers (the first one was due to turnups - not making that mistake again), but I'm humiliating myself in public. The only solution I can reliably use is to wear trainers all the time.

Can't really get away with trainers in the office - wondered about just going shoeless though!!

An added bonus for cigarette trousers - this doesn't happen! But yes, lots on my longer, wider legged trousers. I rarely wear heels now either, which helps.

You could try Hemming My Way by Melissa George - they are adhesive strips to hold your hems up to enable you to wear different heel heights with trousers - apparently has made millions out of it. Or you could find a nice lady to take your trousers up for you.

Have'nt had that problem, but I have slim feet and find my shoes slip at the back and my trousers often get caught.

I work in a bank (Barclays) and mostly behind the counter slip my heels off and go stockinged footed.

Solves the problem and is comfy too.
