looking for an eyeliner that stays on my lids rather than ending up everywhere but

I have a very expensive Charlotte Tibury eyeliner( was a present). I have given it enough time,but it's crap. It's supposed to 'set'. it doesn't set, it is the worst smudging thing I have come across.
I tight line my upper lashes and within a couple of hours the is liner all under my eyes. I may as well just rub it under there to start off with.
Please could you recommend a liner that actually stays put?

No7 Stay Precise. After a friend recommended the stay perfect mascara, and it was on a buy one get one half price offer, I figured I'd try it out. They are both fantastic. I have forgotten I had make up on, rubbed my eyes, and still not looked like a panda (just a little faded). I've gone running in it, had a stressful day at work with no working air con wearing it, and rinsed my face with cold water, and it didn't budge. Have a hot shower and rub my eyes, or gently rub with a hot flannel, and it all comes off.

Down sides are, the eye liner isn't very dark, even in black, so I have to put on a second coat if I want it noticable. (this may not be a downside if you prefer a more subtle look) The mascara you need to be careful with, use only one coat and do it fairly quickly, or it clumps. It doesn't add much volume. And never try to pull it off, or it WILL take your lashes with it!

I use an eyebrow brush and eyeshadow to do it and it lasts so much longer. I also use stay don't stray (benefit) on my eyelids before and under my eyes to stop it smudging.

Ha! I fell for the CT hype too, and had exactly the same experience. It doesn't even last till I get downstairs sometimes!

Blinc do a really good liquid eyeliner which is waterproof and seems to withstand just about everything I chuck at it.

MAC liquilast will stay put all day for me, even in high humidity, and in fact can be a bit of a pain to shift.

swimthechannel. so glad you said that. I thought it was me. I really like her eyeshadow pencils, but the eyeliner is so pants.
